How to Get Yamato

Yamato is a 5-star Katana added in the Reforge the Yamato update (June 12, 2026). Inspired by Vergil's blade from Devil May Cry, it is the current meta weapon for Katana builds.

Crafting Yamato

Yamato is crafted on Midgard Island using Space element forge materials. The update added a new explorable area with bosses and rewards tied to the Devil May Cry-inspired theme.

Vanir (Legendary Race) provides +25% Katana Damage, making it the ideal race synergy for Yamato builds.

Red Orbs & Space Ore

After the initial craft, Yamato upgrades require Red Orbs and Space Ore. Red Orbs drop from Space Invader enemies on Midgard Island. Space Ore can also be purchased from the Space Shop using Holy Coins.

Milestone codes like BBDC65K provide Red Orbs and Igniters directly — redeem these before farming to save time.

  • Farm Space Invaders consistently on Midgard for Red Orb drops.
  • BB30KLIKES and BB40KLIKES provide Space Chests that help with Space material farming.
  • Do not confuse Space Ore (Yamato upgrades) with the Space forge element (initial craft).

Upgrade Path

  1. 1 Craft Yamato on Midgard Island with Space element materials.
  2. 2 Farm Red Orbs from Space Invader drops.
  3. 3 Collect Space Ore for successive upgrade tiers.
  4. 4 Push Soul Forge on Yamato if it is your long-term Katana carry.
  5. 5 Consider Weapon Ascension after Soul Forge 12 for maximum damage.
